Apple sucks big time
Apple is generally known for their innovation and for designing user-friendly products ( at least they claim). They innovate complex features and forget some simple, common and must have features. I bought a iPod touch 3 months back. I was too lazy to share its review, but now im sick of their over hyped products and theirs fuckin updates for which they are charge. They charge for the features which are too obvious to anyone, and give it a colour of innovation.
My friend bought a first generation ipod touch. He was slapped by apple on both the cheeks for purchasing apple product. They added new features to second generation ipod touch and reduced its price by 70$, they should have at least given a hint of what’s coming up. They are not some secret service or a defense organization. Give some value to your customers, why did my friend pay you extra 70+10 dollars??

Apple sucks
- Their products are over hyped.
- Overpriced.
- There’s no search feature in iPod touch, you don’t expect me to scroll through 30 gb of songs to find a song I’m looking for. They introduced this feature in 3.0, for which I have to pay 10 USD. Congratulations for this great innovative idea of adding a search function, listening music on iPod is more fun now. FYI, my Nokia n70 had this feature long long back.Symbian operating knew this feature since it early days, may be you missed it innovating complex things.
- Now you can cut and paste on your iPod touch and iPhone. That’s a great feature, you guys really rock. yaaaaay apple rocks.
- There is no microphone, fm radio and Bluetooth on my iPod.
- You cannot send mms, cannot capture video on your iPhone, no cut and paste until the recent update. What are you people doing? What are you innovating?
- They invented the “in ear” headphones which are priced at 79 USD. Well i think you people should check what other people in the market are doing, you get these inear headphones on most models of sony erricsson phones at no extra cost.
- Honestly, audio quality is a lot better on Sony Ericsson mobile phone with in ear earphones than a iPod.
- I cannot use my iPod touch as a usb drive. Even my n70 can be put in mass storage mode.
- I cannot edit playlists are save playlists on my iPod tocuh except for the one “on the go” playlist.
- They annoy me with their reminders on software updates, and force me to dlaod them
- I cannot install the update on my ipod unless i update my itunes. I have the version jut previous to the latest one.
- There is a pdf reader in iPod, but i cannot load my pdfs into it, WTF.
- I cannot associate my iTunes account with more than five pcs, WTF. I format my pc very frequently. According to them if i format my pc more than 5 times, I should get a new iTunes account and buy all the apps again. I don’t have gold mines dude. Why don’t you just give a number to my ipod and associate with my iTunes account? It’s not common that people have a more than 5 ipods.
- You cannot copy your music from your iPod to another pc, same is the case if your pc crashes. You should either lose your music collection on the ipodTouch are purchase a third-party software to rip the music.
- You cannot mute the songs from your earphone. If someone is talking to you then, you have to pull out the ipodtouch from your pocket, press the home button, then the music icon and then pause.
There still a lot more to say and the list would be endless if start about all the other apple products. If you have anything to say please feel to drop in, i will append them to the above list.
I even quit the idea of buying a mac book after i bought the iPod Touch, I would rather go for a vaio, dell or Toshiba laptop with windows 7.
Mac is a museum with beautiful walls, you don’t get to touch anything. Your hands are tied, so it’s the same every day. But a PC is a workshop with lot of tools, and you have a complete control over your pc.
Listen Mac lovers, you claim that macs are stable. They are stable because you cannot try anything new, you do what it commands you to do. Your hands are tied if you use an apple product.
You know, a soap-bubble can last for years if left undisturbed??

yes, Ipods and Iphones are very overhyped. Cannot say really bad things about OSX, the safety (UNIX) is much better than windows.

Had OS X crash last night trying to play a DVD and force quit would not work.

Andy dont be a morron apple does stuff that if any one else did they would never be purchsed. There are alot of things that apple intentionally does not put in there releases as to keep the idiots bated for the next big patch thats( gonna make my super sleek, sexy and instyle apple product that is already better then everything else that does what it does better) even better then it is, but still not as good as the 7 other devices that do the same thing and more for a quarter of the price. That doesnt matter though cause its apple, but you have to buy the patch
. Come on guys do some research I am a sales associate for the parasitic apple phone host and every day i watch some morron who really needs a blackberry buy that piece of shit. People act like they have never experienced mass marketing campaigns the giant corporation advertises so much that that is all anyone sees and they assume its the only thing that can do it. I swear if one more person comes to me and says i need to get email on my phone now so i need an iphone ill stab them in the face. You dont need that POS you need a blackberry which has been doing PUSH email since before the IPOD was a concept. For those of you who dont know push email is almost instant where PULL (iphone) email is set to a timer that at some increment of time send and recieves after connecting to your accts online. So to wrap up my rant. Please dont be a mindless drone ok if your a media guru great have your apple products. If your just an every day person looking for a machine that is gonna do what you need and be compatible with almost every piece of hardware and software you will ever plug into it get a PC. That said I intend to purchase a mca book to increase my knowledge of the software i little more so i can flood the internet with mac desinged viruses. The reason macs dont get virus’s is there is 1 mac to every 10,000 pc’s in the world and if enough stupid people buy the for long enough there will eventually be just as many mac virus’s. Oh yeah i run a free virus scan, firewall, and spyware removal never get a virus that my FREE virus scan cant get rid of. Just for those who are wondering I download music and movies even programs daily and virus free wow knowing what thehell your doing at a keyboard is very helpfull and alot less exspensive. Andy inability to afford a mac and not wanting to pay an extra grand for a mac when the pc does more is kinda common sense their little guy, and saying you dont need those things on your mp3 player or that thier are 3rd party programs that can do that is rediculous. I think your getting the idea restricts apps running on OS X which isn’t true as there is no censorship or approval, name me one thing you can do on windows you cant on OS X (yes we can right click as well thanks)

It’s funny how this post is about how much apple sucks, but really it’s about your iPod. Macs run better then PC’s they are preferred for graphic design industry, movie industry, film industry, and music industry. PC’s are just a pain in the ass.
